The hotel was a perfect base for enjoying a relatively quiet area, so close to the garden. Overall it was tidy with sofa. The cost was £ 36. Too bad that we didn't have time, but we would happily go back again...

The setting was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, short walk to the garden. Besides, this hotel was located 2 km away from a cubical shrine. The rooms were tidy and exceptionally nice, complete with sofa, TV, as for instance, and with smoke detectors for safety measures too.
Rooms were rather small.

Sandy was an absolute gem, super friendly and went out of her way to accommodate us. The kitchen was a game-changer, perfect for our needs. Location was convenient and the nearby shop was handy. Surprisingly quiet area. The rooms were squeaky clean and had all the modern essentials. Budget-friendly but still excellent!

I had a fantastic stay at this place! Sandy, the owner, was super friendly and accommodating. The kitchen was a lifesaver for our trip, and it was really convenient having a shop nearby. The area was nice and quiet, perfect for a good night's sleep. The cleanliness of the place was mind-blowing, everything was spotless and the modern amenities were a pleasant surprise. The bedding in the bedroom was clean and comfortable. Despite a small issue with a bed bug, the owner quickly addressed it and offered us another room. I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

I loved the fact that the property is conveniently located near Calke Abbey and the library. It's so exciting to have famous landmarks just a short distance away!
The disappointment of not having a private elevator to take me straight to the property's front door. How inconvenient!
